Requirements Analysis
Our comprehensive approach to web design/development ensures adequate consideration for developing the 'design-to' requirements in cooperation with our clients. Our process consists of five (5) phases specified below.

In the requirements analysis phase we:

• Work to develop the desired objectives for the design. Develop a Purpose Statement to which the client is the stakeholder for final content.

• Cost considerations/restrictions are identified.

Design and Development
Once the 'design to' requirements have been identified we employ our design and development methodologies to bring 'concept to substance'. During this phase our team:

• gathers, reviews, discusses, organizes site content
• develops a site schematic
• obtains copyrights and permissions
• plans the site's style - "Look and Feel"
• establishes a detailed outline for each web page
• performs database design and development
• integrates infrastructure design and development.

Test and Evaluation
A continuous test and verification process characterizes the Vigilant Methodology. However, we develop and execute specific Usability Testing to ensure that our web site design delivers an effective and enjoyable interaction to users.

Vigilant also provides Usability Studies for existing web sites to assess the effectiveness of those sites. We:

• develop study goals
• recruit test users
• design the study
• run the study
• interpret results
• provide a report and/or video documenting the results
• develop recommendations for improvements.

Implementation
We develop a tailored Implementation Plan for each project in order to ensure full readiness, understanding, and risk mitigation for the planned implementation. We understand the vital nature of web-based client relationships and therefore take seriously the responsibility to reduce implementation risks to a minimum.

Our Implementation Plan provides opportunities for follow-on support to ensure stability and to provide for hands-on training and indoctrination as appropriate. A unique feature of our plan requires the overt documentation of implementation critical issues/items. Once these items are remediated, we meet with the client to mutually ensure that actions have effectively resolved the risk exposure.

Management
