Vigilant’s Network Engineering services compliment our systems development, systems integration and systems implementation services. Our Network Engineering expertise enables Vigilant to engineer optimal LAN/MAN solutions for our customers. We provide network-engineering design, installation and network administration services for Novell, NT, UNIX based networks, as well as test lab setup and operation, helpdesk support, and training support services. Our Network engineering capabilities include the integration of multiple hardware and software systems. A full range of computer operations support and training, and both preventive and remedial maintenance are provided for PC, the client server, and mainframe network topologies.

Network Design/Engineering: Our network engineers design and implement network topologies to meet the needs of the client and to improve reliability, management, and performance. We provide logistics support for large network implementations/upgrades and deliver “cradle to grave” solutions for large networks.

Network Assessment and Troubleshooting: Our network engineers perform Network Assessments and provide Troubleshooting services to optimize network performance. These services may encompass re-configuration or complete re-engineering, using state-of-the-art tools to capture relevant performance metrics and perform fault isolation/resolution.

Network Implementation and Maintenance: Our network implementation teams have a wealth of implementation experience and provide the benefit of lessons learned to our clients. In addition to help desk support, we provide the analysis, design, and implementation of functional enhancements, as well as the repair and maintenance of hardware, software and network systems. This support includes the acquisition, implementation, training and monitoring of ADP systems and support services. The ability to respond and perform assignments in a responsive manner providing continuous performance improvements are hallmarks of our service.

Technical support capabilities include performing all routine operational tasks such as systems configuration, system back up, organization, monitoring and maintenance. Operating and software systems for each facility and equipment configuration are managed to operate smoothly and efficiently.

Our systems design, development and support capabilities include working with clients to define and analyze hardware and software solutions, developing designs into user friendly applications to implement and maintain new and legacy systems. Using the latest structured systems analysis and design techniques, we provide the highest level of systems documentation permitting us to develop preliminary and detailed systems design proposals for Government approval. Thorough hardware/software documentation and user manuals are tested and reviewed to provide for low cost future maintenance and to facilitate training.
